Then this service is for you!

Remote Assistance, utilizing Splashtop SOS application, to remotely connect to your Microsoft Windows based laptop. Sync Programming will assist with your FORScan programming at a mutual time that works for you and us.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• You need to have a stable Wi-Fi connection or mobile hotspot at your vehicle to utilize this service.
  • Test connection before purchasing, make sure you can browse the internet with your laptop in your front seat of your vehicle.
• Connect your WINDOWS based laptop to this Wi-Fi connection (Apple Mac, Google Chromebook and Linux are not supported for this service)
• You will visit: https://sos.splashtop.com/
• You will download and open the small application
• You will then provide the 9-digit one-time use connection code to Sync Programming (via text, email, or phone - whichever is preferred)
• Sync Programming will then connect to your PC with you to remotely see your screen and control your keyboard\mouse to assist you with programming, while communicating with you via Phone or Text Message (your preference)
• Remote Access is permanently terminated once you disconnect and close the Splashtop SOS application when programming is complete.
  • You can then delete the downloaded application from Splashtop off your PC, it is no longer needed.

Sync 3 Prerequisite Requirements for Programming:

• Applicable Vehicle
  • Sync 3 System Installed and properly connected wiring/harnesses
• This order is for remote programming assistance only (Sync 3 Hardware and Programming NOT Included).
  • Sync 3 Programming File(s) are ordered as separate item.
• FORScan Installed on Windows (7, 8.1, 10, or 11) based Laptop PC with Extended License Installed
  • Download Link
  • Extended License Generator
• Compatible OBD Programmer to Write Sync 3 APIM Programming File(s) with FORScan
  • Examples:
    • Bluetooth: ScanTool OBDLink MX+
      • Use Bluetooth Communication Mode in FORScan Settings
      • Amazon Purchase Link
    • USB: ScanTool OBDLink EX (RECOMMENDED)
      • Use FTDI Communication Mode in FORScan Settings

    • Other: Any OBD Programmer, not on this list, that you have personally verified works with FORScan on your vehicle and can access APIM (As-Built Data) and other modules without issue.
